Fairways and Flats
We’re bringing together two passions in one week-long journey: world-class fly fishing and championship golf.
If you’re drawn to the challenge of hunting permit on a fly, you likely understand the maddening allure of golf. Both demand patience, precision, and a willingness to be humbled—yet both reward you with moments of pure exhilaration. This trip blends those worlds into one unforgettable week: mornings on the flats chasing permit, afternoons on championship greens, and evenings in stunning oceanfront accommodations.
We’ll begin in Roatán at Pristine Bay, where oceanfront rooms and The Black Pearl Golf Course are right at your doorstep. Ease in with 9 holes on arrival day, then challenge yourself with a full 18 the next. Between rounds, relax with a drink at Pete’s Place, hit the range, or float in the infinity pool before winding down over dinner with the ocean breeze.
From there, we’ll take a morning boat to Guanaja. Staying in our oceanfront cabanas at Mangrove Bight, you’ll spend four full days wading turquoise waters for bonefish, tarpon, and permit. Evenings bring fresh seafood, cold drinks, and the quiet rhythm of the island. Guanaja’s wild beauty and thriving fishery make it a true haven for anglers—and the perfect place to slow down and connect.
On Friday, we’ll head back to Roatán for more golf, enjoying 18 holes at The Black Pearl, followed by one last overnight at Pristine Bay before departing home midday on Saturday.
